SB1006-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB1006-SA1,1,3 21. Page 4, line 19: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
3page 5, line 3.
SB1006-SA1,1,4 42. Page 8, line 6: delete lines 6 to 21 and substitute:
SB1006-SA1,1,5 5 Section 24. 29.889 (6) (f) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
SB1006-SA1,1,126 29.889 (6) (f) 2. a. A person who receives a payment of a crop insurance claim
7for damage caused by wildlife may receive a payment for a wildlife damage claim that
8arose from the same growing season for up to the amount of the damage that was not
9covered by the insurance payment, subject to sub. (7) (b) 4. Except as provided in
10subd. 2. c., if a person has crop insurance that covers wildlife damage, the amount
11of a wildlife damage claim payment for crop damage caused by wildlife may not be
12determined until an insurance claim for the damage is filed and settled.

1b. A person is not eligible for a wildlife damage claim payment for crop damage
2caused by wildlife unless the person has crop insurance that covers wildlife damage.
SB1006-SA1,2,63 c. A person under subd. 2. a. or b. is not required to submit a crop insurance
4claim for crop damage caused by wildlife before receiving a wildlife damage claim
5payment for that damage if the cumulative crop damage is not sufficient to warrant
6a crop insurance claim.”.
