TO SENATE BILL 106

SB106-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB106-SA1,1,4 21. Page 1, line 4: delete “, the court" and substitute “and the person is subject
3to this section because he or she was convicted of a violent felony, then,
4notwithstanding sub. (1m), the person is guilty of a Class F felony and the court".
SB106-SA1,1,5 52. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:
SB106-SA1,1,6 6 Section 1m. 941.29 (5) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB106-SA1,1,97 941.29 (5) (a) Has received a pardon with respect to the crime or felony specified
8in sub. (1m), (4g), or (4m) and has been expressly authorized to possess a firearm
9under 18 USC app. 1203; or
SB106-SA1,1p 10Section 1p. 973.176 (1) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB106-SA1,2,211 973.176 (1) Firearm possession. Whenever a court imposes a sentence or
12places a defendant on probation regarding a felony conviction, the court shall inform

1the defendant of the requirements and penalties applicable to him or her under s.
2941.29 (1m), (4g), or (4m), whichever is applicable.”.
