SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 374

SB374-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB374-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:

SB374-SA1,1,4 “bm. The governor issues a written notice of approval of the agreement no later than 90 days after being presented with the agreement under subd. 1m.”.

SB374-SA1,1,5 2. Page 3, line 9: delete lines 9 and 10 and substitute:

SB374-SA1,1,6 “c. The agreement is approved by joint resolution of the legislature.” .

SB374-SA1,1,7 3. Page 3, line 10: after that line insert:

SB374-SA1,1,9 “1m. As soon as possible after the department reaches an agreement with the state of Minnesota, the department shall present the agreement to the governor.”.

SB374-SA1,1,11 4. Page 3, line 19: delete “the joint committee on finance under s. 13.10" and substitute “joint resolution of the legislature".

SB374-SA1,2,2 5. Page 4, line 23: delete the material beginning with “joint" and ending with “finance" on line 24 and substitute “legislature”.
