Under current law, the State Fair Park Board manages State Fair Park. Also under current law, DOA employs police officers and provides police and security services to other state agencies.
This bill requires the State Fair Park Board to enter into a memorandum of understanding with DOA regarding the provision of police and security services to State Fair Park.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 42.106 (3) of the statutes is created to read:
42.106 (3) The state fair park board shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the department of administration regarding the provision of police and security services to state fair park.
