This bill repeals the farm to school program and eliminates the farm to school council. Under current law, DATCP is required to promote farm to school programs, which connect schools with nearby farms to provide children with locally produced foods in school meals. Current law also establishes a farm to school council to advise DATCP and report to the legislature about the needs and opportunities for farm to school programs.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 15.137 (3) of the statutes is repealed.
Section
2. 20.115 (3) (at) of the statutes is repealed.

Section
3. 20.115 (4) (as) of the statutes is repealed.
