1. Transform Milwaukee Jobs for Childless Adults program
This bill provides funding for and requires DCF to establish the Transform Milwaukee Jobs for Childless Adults program, which is identical to the Transform Milwaukee Jobs program except that it is open to childless adults. Under current law, the Transform Milwaukee Jobs program provides a wage subsidy for placement into jobs for qualifying individuals in Milwaukee County. Under current law, in order to qualify for the Transform Milwaukee Jobs program, a participant must be a parent or relative who is a primary caregiver of a child.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 20.437 (2) (ef) of the statutes is created to read:
20.437 (2) (ef) Transform Milwaukee Jobs for Childless Adults. The amounts in the schedule for the program under s. 49.164.

involves a change in an appropriation that must be reflected in the revised schedule in s. 20.005, stats.
Section
2. 49.164 of the statutes is created to read:
49.164 Transform Milwaukee Jobs for Childless Adults. The department shall establish a program identical to the Transform Milwaukee Jobs program under s. 49.163 except that a participant is not required to meet the eligibility criterion under s. 49.163 (2) (am) 2.
