Off-highway motorcycle administration
Under current law, moneys received from the sale of nonresident trail passes for off-highway motorcycle operation are not credited to a specific appropriation but are deposited in the conservation fund, the segregated fund used to finance resource management programs administered by DNR. Under this bill, all moneys received from the sale of nonresident trail passes for off-highway motorcycle operation will continue to be deposited in the conservation fund but will be credited to the appropriation account that provides DNR moneys to administer the off-highway motorcycle program.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
