Trauma response teams
This bill directs DHS to annually award a grant equal to $450,000 for the Milwaukee Trauma Response Team, which is a joint venture between the City of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Police Department, and Wraparound Milwaukee's Mobile Urgent Treatment Team to provide support and guidance for children who have witnessed or have been exposed to potentially traumatic events.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Section
1. 46.48 (6) of the statutes is created to read:
46.48 (6) Trauma response teams. The department shall annually award a grant equal to $450,000 for the Milwaukee trauma response team. Notwithstanding sub. (1), grants awarded under this subsection shall be from the appropriation under s. 20.435 (5) (bc).
