1999 Assembly Joint Resolution 52
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: commending the enlisted men and women of the Wisconsin Air National Guard as they celebrate "The Year of the Enlisted Force".
Whereas, the year 1999 commemorates "The Year of the Enlisted Force" for the enlisted men and women of the Air National Guard; and
Whereas, during the past 51 years, the enlisted men and women of the Wisconsin Air National Guard supported the Korean Conflict, Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm and numerous humanitarian and peace-keeping missions worldwide; and
Whereas, the efforts of dedicated enlisted men and women of the Wisconsin Air National Guard combined over the years to earn numerous awards, including the coveted Air Force Outstanding Unit Award; and
Whereas, the emphasis on charting the future, along with the establishment of solid attainable long-term goals by the senior enlisted leadership, ensures the readiness, relevancy and viability of the Wisconsin Air National Guard well into the next millennium; and
Whereas, the enlisted men and women of the Wisconsin Air National Guard have continuously rendered outstanding unselfish service to the nation, state and community; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the legislature of the state of Wisconsin commend the enlisted men and women of the Wisconsin Air National Guard as they celebrate "The Year of the Enlisted Force"; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall present a copy of this joint resolution to the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
