2001 Assembly Resolution 33
ENGROSSED RESOLUTION
Relating to: commending the La Crosse Logan High School baseball team, their accomplishments this season, and victory in the WIAA Division 1 baseball tournament final.
Whereas, La Crosse Logan High School baseball team and coach Terry Curtis won the Division 1 state tournament on June 7, 2001 in Grand Chute, Wisconsin; and
Whereas, the Rangers brought home the first state victory since 1971 with a 22-4 record in 2001; and
Whereas, Terry Curtis coached the La Crosse Logan High School Rangers for 19 years and to their first WIAA Division 1 championship in 30 years; and
Whereas, the La Crosse Logan High School state championship baseball team has made great accomplishments in the 2001 season; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, That the members of the Wisconsin assembly commend Coach Terry Curtis on his career and the accomplishments of the entire La Crosse Logan High School baseball team and wish them the very best in their futures; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this resolution to La Crosse Logan High School Coach Terry Curtis and Principal Scott Mihalovic.
