2003 WISCONSIN ACT
An Act to create 38.39 of the statutes; relating to: technical college district contracts with businesses for the purpose of providing services and facilities.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
SB384, s. 1 Section 1. 38.39 of the statutes is created to read:
38.39 Wisconsin Advantage Jobs Training Program. (1) With the approval of the board, a district board may on its own or jointly with any other entity contract with a business located in the district to provide the business with one or more of the following:
(a) Training for jobs created or retained by the business.
(b) Adult basic education.
(c) Vocational and skill-assessment services.
(d) Training facilities, equipment, and material.
(e) Professional services.
(2) The district board may not increase its tax levy to support the program under this section.
