ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: the life and service of Specialist Kyle M. Hemauer of the Virginia Army National Guard, who lost his life during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Whereas, on May 23, 2005, Private First Class Kyle M. Hemauer, of Manassas, Virginia, a member of the Virginia Army National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division, died while serving his country in Zabul, Afghanistan; and
Whereas, Private First Class Hemauer provided faithful and honorable service to the people of the United States; and
Whereas, Private First Class Hemauer was posthumously awarded the rank of Specialist; and
Whereas, the people of Wisconsin mourn the death of Private First Class Hemauer, a native of Chilton, Wisconsin; and
Whereas, Private First Class Hemauer is survived by his parents, Andrew and Anne Hemauer of Chilton and brothers, Brad and Lucas Hemauer; and
Whereas, Private First Class Hemauer was laid to rest on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the legislature of the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of Private First Class Kyle M. Hemauer and extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues; and, be it further
Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint resolution to his parents, Andrew and Anne Hemauer of Chilton and his brothers, Brad and Lucas Hemauer.
