2013 Senate Joint Resolution 15
ENROLLED JOINT RESOLUTION
Relating to: commending Ms. Tasha Schuh for being crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA.
Whereas, Ms. Tasha Schuh of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, was crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA in July of 2012 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and
Whereas, Tasha was previously named Ms. Wheelchair Wisconsin in September of 2011; and
Whereas, Tasha has also since been named 2012 American Rehabilitation Champion by the Foundation for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; and
Whereas, Tasha eloquently tells of her personal journey and accomplishments in her newly published book, My Last Step Backward; and
Whereas, Tasha is an inspiration to others and gives hope with her positive attitude; and
Whereas, Tasha shows remarkable strength by living independently in her own home; and
Whereas, Tasha has a beautiful voice and one of her next projects is to record a music album; and
Whereas, Tasha has become a very popular local icon with her appearances on local television and radio talk shows; and
Whereas, Tasha exemplifies a willingness to serve others as she spends time sharing her life story speaking in front of audiences at schools, churches, hospitals, correctional facilities, and other venues; now, therefore be it
Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the Wisconsin legislature do hereby commend Ms. Tasha Schuh on being crowned Ms. Wheelchair USA and wish her success in her future endeavors.
