AB103,1,3 1An Act to create 115.76 (3) (k) of the statutes; relating to: specifying that
2developmental delay is a handicapping condition that may qualify certain
3children for special education.

This bill specifies that "developmental delay" in children who are 3, 4 or 5 years
old is a handicapping condition that may qualify a child for special education.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB103, s. 1 4Section 1. 115.76 (3) (k) of the statutes is created to read:
AB103,1,55 115.76 (3) (k) For children who are 3, 4 or 5 years old, developmental delay.
AB103, s. 2 6Section 2. Effective date.
AB103,1,8 7(1) This act takes effect on July 1, 1995, or on the day after publication,
8whichever is later.
