AB395,1,3 1An Act to create 341.05 (19m) of the statutes; relating to: exempting from
2vehicle registration certain vehicles owned by a technical college district board
3and used for educational purposes.

Under current law, a person may not drive a vehicle upon a highway in this
state unless the vehicle is registered with the department of transportation or is
exempt from registration.
This bill exempts from registration a vehicle that is owned by a technical college
district board and used for educational purposes if the vehicle is driven within 5
miles of the technical college to transport the vehicle to or from the technical college.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB395, s. 1 4Section 1. 341.05 (19m) of the statutes is created to read:
AB395,1,75 341.05 (19m) Is owned by a technical college district board, used for
6educational purposes and is operated only within 5 miles of the technical college to
7transport the vehicle to or from a technical college.
