This bill requires the department of revenue to have a toll-free telephone line
for the purpose of answering questions about the income tax, to operate it with
current employes and to advertise it in certain ways.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB455, s. 1 4Section 1. 73.03 (39) of the statutes is created to read:
AB455,1,85 73.03 (39) To have a toll-free telephone line for the purpose of answering
6questions about the income tax, to use current employes to operate that line so as to
7minimize its costs and to give notice of that line's existence in large print on the front
8cover of each of the department's income tax forms, returns and other publications.
