2body-building or weight-training equipment in state prisons.

Current law provides various restrictions on activities within state prisons.
This bill prohibits the use, by inmates, guards or others, of equipment or weights for
body building or weight training in a state prison.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB574, s. 1 3Section 1. 302.085 of the statutes is created to read:
AB574,1,7 4302.085 Restrictions on the use of certain equipment. The warden or
5superintendent of a Type 1 prison shall not allow inmates, correctional officers or
6other persons to use any machine, equipment, apparatus or weights for body
7strengthening or weight training in a Type 1 prison.
