AB663,1,3 An Act to create 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. and im. of the statutes; relating to: removable prosthodontic services under medical assistance and making an appropriation.

1995 Wisconsin Act 27 repealed medical assistance coverage of removable and fixed prosthodontic services, effective July 29, 1995. This bill restores medical assistance coverage of removable and fixed prosthodontic services retroactive to that date.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB663, s. 1 Section 1. 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. and im. of the statutes are created to read:

AB663,1,5 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. Removable prosthodontic services.

AB663,1,6 1. im. Fixed prosthodontic services.

AB663, s. 2 Section 2. Appropriation changes.

AB663,2,3 (1) Medical assistance. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health and social services under section 20.435 (1) (b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1995, the dollar amount is increased by $1,365,600 for fiscal year 1995-96 and the dollar amount is increased by $1,366,000 for fiscal year 1996-97 to fund increased medical assistance costs resulting from making payments for removable and fixed prosthodontic services.

AB663, s. 3 Section 3. Effective date.

AB663,2,5 (1) This act takes effect retroactively to July 29, 1995.
