1An Act to repeal 121.02 (1) (L) 5. of the statutes;
relating to: instruction in
2foreign language in grades 7 and 8.

Under current law, each school board must provide regular instruction in
foreign language in grades 7 and 8 beginning in the 1996-97 school year. This bill
eliminates this requirement.
