1An Act relating to: reimbursement by the public defender board to private
2attorneys and private investigators and making an appropriation.

The bill increases, for fiscal year 1995-96 and fiscal year 1996-97, the
appropriation to the state public defender board for payment to private attorneys
and private investigators.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

Private bar and investigator reimbursement. In the schedule under section
520.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the public defender board under
6section 20.550 (1) (d) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1995, the dollar amount
7is increased by $684,000 for fiscal year 1995-96 and the dollar amount is increased
8by $1,546,500 for fiscal year 1996-97 to increase funding for the purposes for which
9the appropriation is made.
