AJR74,1,32 Whereas, Fred Schram was born on February 14, 1934, in Sauk County and
3died in Lone Rock on January 1, 1996; and
AJR74,1,74 Whereas, he was a member of the Lone Rock fire department for 41 years; a
5member of the Richland County sheriff's posse for 14 years; a member of the Lone
6Rock village board for 16 years; and an emergency medical technician for 20 years;
7and
AJR74,1,138 Whereas, he also served as chair of the Richland County Highway Safety
9Commission and was a member of the Richland County Council on Drugs and
10Alcohol; the Richland County Professionals for the Prevention of Child Abuse; the
11Richland County Domestic Abuse Task Force; the University of
12Wisconsin-Platteville Law Enforcement Advisory Board; and the Richland County
13911 Committee; and
AJR74,1,1514 Whereas, Mr. Schram served effectively for 9 years as sheriff of Richland
15County; now, therefore, be it
AJR74,2,3 16Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
17Wisconsin legislature state their admiration for the many decades of devoted public

1service that Fred Schram rendered to the people of Richland County, express their
2sorrow at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and be
3it further
AJR74,2,6 4Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
5resolution to Mr. Schram's wife, Lorraine; and to his son, Mike, and his daughter,
6Michelle Neverman.
