This resolution permits a member of the assembly to file written adjournment
remarks for inclusion in the journal. The remarks may not exceed 50 words and must
be included in the journal without change.

AR15, s. 1 3Section 1. Assembly rule 98 is created to read:
AR15,1,84 Assembly Rule 98. Written adjournment remarks. (1) Any member may
5file with the chief clerk for inclusion in the journal, without obtaining the floor or
6using a microphone, his or her written remarks made in conjunction with adjourning
7the assembly in honor of a person or organization or to introduce an individual or
8group or mention that an individual or group had visited the capital city.
AR15,1,109 (2) The written remarks may not exceed 50 words. The chief clerk shall include
10the written remarks in the journal without change.
