Whereas, Dean Price was born on January 22, 1931, and died on January 24,
31996; and

Whereas, Dean Price, a lifetime resident of the Town of Delmar, married
5Dolores Ann Skog on August 26, 1950, in Stanley, Wisconsin; and

Whereas, he and Dolores farmed for 28 years in Delmar; and

Whereas, Dean price contributed much to his community through his active
8leadership in local government; and

Whereas, Mr. Price's public service included representing his community on the
10Chippewa County Board of Supervisors, serving as town clerk for the Delmar Town
11Board and serving as Chippewa County Highway Commissioner; and

Whereas, Dean was an active member of the Stanley Masonic Lodge #273 and
13enjoyed numerous hobbies from woodworking to restoration of cars, fishing and
14hunting; now, therefore, be it

15Resolved by the assembly, That the members of the Wisconsin assembly
16commend Dean Price's many years of devoted public service; express their sorrow at
1his death; and extend their condolences to his family, friends, and former colleagues;
2and, be it further

3Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
4resolution to Mr. Price's wife, Dolores Price, and to his children; Duane Price, Debra
5Roth and Denise Stangl.
