SB269,1,2 1An Act to renumber 114.31 (3); and to create 114.31 (3) (b) of the statutes;
2relating to: flight instruction training courses.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the department of transportation (DOT), in cooperation
with the appropriate educational institutions, formulates and promotes programs of
aviation education and training. This bill prohibits DOT from administering,
funding or promoting an education or training course that is a refresher course for
flight instruction.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB269, s. 1 3Section 1. 114.31 (3) of the statutes is renumbered 114.31 (3) (a).
SB269, s. 2 4Section 2. 114.31 (3) (b) of the statutes is created to read:
SB269,1,75 114.31 (3) (b) Notwithstanding par. (a), the department may not administer,
6fund or promote any education or training course that is a refresher course for flight
7instruction.
