1An Act to amend 15.16 (1) (intro.), 15.16 (1) (a) (intro.), 15.16 (1) (a) 1. and 40.03
2(7) (a) of the statutes;
relating to: public school teacher representation on the
3employe trust funds board and increasing the size of the employe trust funds
4board.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the employe trust funds board is responsible for the
direction and supervision of the department of employe trust funds. The employe
trust funds board consists of 12 members, one of whom is required to be a public
school teacher who participates in the Wisconsin retirement system and serves on
the teachers retirement board. This bill increases the size of the employe trust funds
board to 14 members and requires that 3 of its members be such public school
teachers.

enact as follows:

17position is created by this act, shall be initially appointed for a term expiring on May
