SB441,1,2 1An Act to create 23.115 (3) of the statutes; relating to: inspection of certain
2snowmobile trails by the department of natural resources.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the department of natural resources must inspect, twice a
year, trail signs and designated areas such as trails, campgrounds and picnic areas
that are located on land under its control. This bill exempts snowmobile trails on
such land if the trails are maintained by snowmobile clubs or other nonprofit
organizations.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
