AB581,1,2 1An Act relating to: the supplemental food program for women, infants and
2children and making an appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases the appropriation for the supplemental food program for
women, infants and children, which provides supplemental foods, nutrition
education and other services, including nutritional counseling, to low-income
women, infants and children.

printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB581, s. 1 3Section 1. Appropriation changes.
AB581,1,94 (1) Supplemental food program for women, infants and children. In the
5schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the
6department of health and family services under section 20.435 (5) (em) of the
7statutes, as affected by the acts of 1997, the dollar amount is increased by $269,500
8for fiscal year 1997-98 and the dollar amount is increased by $539,000 for fiscal year
91998-99 for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.
