1997 - 1998 LEGISLATURE
January 6, 1998 - Introduced by Representatives Zukowski, Ryba, Otte, Gronemus
and Vander Loop. Referred to Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs.
AB697,1,2 1An Act to create 15.497 (3) of the statutes; relating to: removing
2reimbursement of expenses for members of the council on veterans programs.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, all members of councils created by statute are reimbursed
for their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
The council on veterans programs is created by statute so the members of that council
are eligible for reimbursement for their actual and necessary expenses in performing
their duties as council members. This bill eliminates the reimbursement of members
of the council on veterans programs for their actual and necessary expenses in
performing their duties as council members.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
