relating to: the prohibition on
2constructing and modifying medical waste incinerators.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law generally prohibits the department of natural resources from
approving the construction or modification of a medical waste incinerator until after
July 1, 1998. This bill extends the medical waste incinerator moratorium through
July 1, 2002.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
