AJR125,1,43 Whereas, this state was well represented on the 1998 women's winter Olympic
4teams; and
AJR125,1,85 Whereas, the female Olympians who have ties to Wisconsin include Erika
6Brown, Karyn Bye, Moira D'Andrea, Julie Goskowicz, Deborah Henry, Kirstin
7Holum, Lori Mountford, Catherine Raney, Jennifer Rodriguez, Amy Sannes, Lisa
8Schoeneberg, Becky Sundstrom and Chris Witty; and
AJR125,1,109 Whereas, Karyn Bye won a gold medal as a member of the women's hockey
10team, and Chris Witty won a gold medal as a long-track speedskater; and
AJR125,1,1211 Whereas, all of the Wisconsin athletes worked hard and competed well; now,
12therefore, be it
AJR125,2,2 13Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
14Wisconsin legislature salute this state's female Olympians for their

1accomplishments, thank them for honorably representing this state and wish them
2further success; and, be it further
AJR125,2,4 3Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint
4resolution to each of Wisconsin's female Olympians.
