AJR53,1,32 Whereas, Stan T. Pelecky was born on April 27, 1934, in Milwaukee, and died
3on March 24, 1997; and
AJR53,1,64 Whereas, After proceeding through the Milwaukee public schools, Mr. Pelecky
5earned a B.S. degree in mathematics and physics from the University of
6Wisconsin-Madison; and
AJR53,1,87 Whereas, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and as an attorney for the
832nd Infantry Division; and
AJR53,1,99 Whereas, he was elected to the assembly in 1962; and
AJR53,1,1110 Whereas, during his term in the assembly Mr. Pelecky was a member of the
11State Affairs Committee; and
AJR53,1,1312 Whereas, he also served as Representative Henry Reuss home secretary; now,
13therefore, be it
AJR53,1,16 14Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
15Wisconsin Legislature commend Stan Pelecky's public service, express their sorrow
16at his death and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and, be it further

1Resolved, That: the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
2resolution to Stan Pelecky's children; Diandra Leslie-Pelecky, Ted Pelecky and
3Steven Pelecky.
