AR13,1,2 1Relating to: helping break the gridlock on 1997 Assembly Bill 421 in the joint
2survey committee on retirement systems.
AR13,1,73 Whereas, 1997 Assembly Bill 421, relating to: transferring funds in the fixed
4retirement investment trust of the Wisconsin retirement system and increasing the
5retirement formula multiplier for certain participating employes in the Wisconsin
6retirement system for creditable service earned before January 1, 1998, was referred
7to the joint survey committee on retirement systems on June 10, 1997; and
AR13,1,108 Whereas, the members of the joint survey committee and many others have
9studied the bill in great detail and the joint survey committee has received the
10actuarial opinion on the bill which is required under section 13.50 of the statutes; and
AR13,1,1311 Whereas, the joint survey committee is gridlocked on the bill and needs the
12assistance of the other members of the assembly to break the gridlock; now, therefore,
13be it
AR13,2,4 14Resolved by the assembly, That for 1997 Assembly Bill 421, the bill and the
15actuarial report on the bill are deemed to be the written report and the actuarial

1opinion required under section 13.50 of the statutes and the submittal of the report
2of the actuary to the joint survey committee on retirement systems is deemed to be
3the submittal of the report to the chief clerk as required by section 13.50 of the
4statutes.
