Current law generally prohibits any person who has not attained the legal
drinking age of 21 years of age (underage person) from knowingly possessing or
consuming alcohol beverages. This prohibition does not apply if the underage person
is accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or spouse who has attained the legal
drinking age.
This bill prohibits an underage person from having alcohol present in his or her
body, unless the underage person is accompanied by his or her parent, guardian or
spouse who has attained the legal drinking age.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
