AB29,1,2 1An Act to amend 36.25 (23) of the statutes; relating to: courses offered by the

This bill requires that at least 80% of the courses offered by the Robert M. La
Follette Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison be held
after 5 p.m.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB29, s. 1 3Section 1. 36.25 (23) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB29,2,24 36.25 (23) Robert M. La Follette institute of public affairs. There is
5established a Robert M. La Follette institute of public affairs at the University of
6Wisconsin-Madison. The institute shall engage in research, public service and
7educational activities to advance the knowledge of public affairs and the application

1of that knowledge to the needs of this state. Beginning in the 2000-01 academic year,
2at least 80% of the courses offered by the institute shall be held after 5 p.m.
