2from school.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law allows a parent or guardian to excuse his or her child from school
for up to ten days each school year. This bill eliminates this provision. The bill does
not affect a school board's authority to excuse a child from school in accordance with
its written attendance policy and with the written approval of the child's parent or
guardian.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB61, s. 1 3Section 1. 118.15 (3) (c) of the statutes is repealed.
