1An Act to create 36.11 (41) of the statutes;
relating to: prohibiting the
2expenditure of University of Wisconsin System funds to send family and friends
3of faculty and staff and nonessential personnel to events.

This bill requires the board of regents of the University of Wisconsin (UW)
System to ensure that no general purpose revenue or program revenue, other than
from gifts, is used to pay any of the costs associated with sending family members
and friends of faculty and staff and nonessential personnel to conferences, seminars,
competition and other events.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
