This bill requires the adjutant general to purchase an infrared camera for the
use of the Wisconsin wing of the civil air patrol to conduct searches for lost
individuals in northern Wisconsin and provides the funding necessary for the
purchase.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB780, s. 1 4Section 1. 20.465 (3) (f) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB780,1,65 20.465 (3) (f) Civil air patrol aids. The amounts in the schedule to provide
6assistance to the civil air patrol under s. 166.03 (2) (a) 5. and 6.
AB780, s. 2 7Section 2. 166.03 (2) (a) 6. of the statutes is created to read:

AB780,2,96 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation
7to the department of military affairs under section 20.465 (3) (f) of the statutes, as
8affected by the acts of 1999, the dollar amount is increased by $120,000 for fiscal year
91999-00 to purchase infrared optical equipment.
