1999 Assembly JOINT RESOLUTION 65

AJR65,1,2 Relating to: creating a committee of conference on 1999 Assembly Bill 133, the executive budget bill of the 1999 legislature.

AJR65,1,8 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That, upon the adoption of this joint resolution by the senate and concurrence therein by the assembly and notwithstanding joint rule 3 (intro.), there is created a committee of conference on 1999 Assembly Bill 133, relating to state finances and appropriations, constituting the executive budget bill of the 1999 legislature, to reconcile the differences between the 2 houses and to present its report on the bill to the 2 houses; and

AJR65,1,10 Be it further resolved, That, notwithstanding joint rule 3 (1), senate rules 4 (9) and 35 and assembly rule 40 (1):

AJR65,1,12 (1) The committee of conference on 1999 Assembly Bill 133 shall consist of 3 members from each house.

AJR65,2,2 (2) The members of the committee of conference on 1999 Assembly Bill 133 shall be appointed by the speaker of the assembly in the case of assembly members and be appointed by the president of the senate, without approval of the senate, in the case of senate members.

AJR65,2,5 (3) The report by the committee of conference on 1999 Assembly Bill 133 must be supported by the votes of at least a majority of the members representing each house.
