This resolution continues, except for Senate Rule 21m, the rules of the 1997
senate as the rules of the 1999 senate.
Senate Rule 21m prohibits senate campaign committees from soliciting or
accepting campaign contributions from lobbyists or from political action committees
that are controlled by organizations that employ or retain lobbyists, except during
the campaign period. This resolution repeals that rule.

SR2, s. 1 4Section 1. Rules of the Senate. The rules of the 1997 Senate shall continue
5as the rules of the 1999 Senate.
SR2, s. 2 6Section 2. Senate rule 21m is repealed.
