relating to: constructing a veterinary diagnostic

Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases the authorized general fund supported borrowing authority
of the state by $4,900,000 for the purpose of constructing a veterinary diagnostic
laboratory located at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The bill also increases
the amount enumerated for the laboratory under the 2001-03 authorized state
building program from $20,000,000 to $24,900,000.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

University of Wisconsin; academic facilities. From the capital
6improvement fund, a sum sufficient for the board of regents of the University of
7Wisconsin System to acquire, construct, develop, enlarge or improve university
1academic educational facilities and facilities to support such facilities. The state may
2contract public debt in an amount not to exceed
$1,052,005,900 $1,056,905,900 for
3this purpose.
