AJR79,1,42 Whereas, U.S. Army Specialist Nichole M. Frye was born on April 10, 1984, in
3Oconto, Wisconsin, and died on Monday, February 16, 2004, in Ba'qubah, Iraq, while
4serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom; and
AJR79,1,75 Whereas, Spc. Frye served with honor as a U.S. Army Civil Affairs soldier with
6the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion out of Green Bay until, upon deployment, she was
7transferred to the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion out of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and
AJR79,1,108 Whereas, Spc. Frye graduated from Lena High School in 2002, where she
9participated in FFA, and she was an accomplished musician in the band for 8 years;
10and
AJR79,1,1111 Whereas, Spc. Frye made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of her country; and
AJR79,1,1312 Whereas, Spc. Frye will always be remembered for her bravery and courage and
13will never be forgotten; now, therefore, be it
AJR79,2,2 14Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
15Wisconsin legislature commend the life and devoted service of U.S. Army Specialist

1Nichole M. Frye, express their sorrow at her death, and extend their condolences to
2her family and friends; and, be it further
AJR79,2,6 3Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
4resolution to Spc. Frye's mother and father, Jayme and Lisa Frye of the Town of Little
5River; to her sister, Crystal Frye; to her brother, William Frye; and to her fiance,
6Jeremy Stumpf of Oconto.
