AJR83,1,32 Whereas, Angelo F. Greco was born on March 19, 1925, in Milwaukee,
3Wisconsin, and died on April 29, 2004, in Milwaukee; and
AJR83,1,54 Whereas, Mr. Greco served his country with the U.S. Army in the Medical Corps
5during World War II in China, Burma, and India; and
AJR83,1,76 Whereas, Mr. Greco received a BA degree from Lawrence University in 1950,
7and earned an LLB degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1955; and
AJR83,1,98 Whereas, Mr. Greco was first elected to the Wisconsin assembly in 1960, serving
9in the 1961 through 1965 sessions; and
AJR83,1,1210 Whereas, during his tenure in the assembly, Mr. Greco served on the Committee
11on Judiciary, Committee on Education, and Committee on Commerce and
12Manufacturers and on the Building Commission; and
AJR83,1,1413 Whereas, Mr. Greco served as majority caucus chairman in the 1965 session;

1Whereas, Mr. Greco served as vice-chairman on the Governor's Committee on
2Loans and Scholarships in 1965; and
AJR83,2,43 Whereas, Mr. Greco maintained a law practice after leaving the legislature, and
4actively participated in community theater for many years; now therefore be it
AJR83,2,8 5Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
6Wisconsin legislature commend the devoted public service that Angelo F. Greco
7contributed to this state and his community, express their sorrow at his death, and
8extend their condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
AJR83,2,12 9Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
10resolution to Mr. Greco's wife, Loretta, and his former wife, Nancy; his sons, Joseph
11of Oceanside, California; Thomas of Orlando, Florida; David of Mequon; and Donald
12of Port Washington; his sister, Mary Staffeld; and his brothers, Joseph and John.
