SB417,1,2 1An Act to create 348.07 (2) (im) of the statutes; relating to: trailers used to
2transport livestock.

Under current law, with limited exceptions, no one may operate a single vehicle
that exceeds 40 feet in length without obtaining a permit from the Department of
Transportation.
This bill creates an exception for a two-vehicle combination that is used to
transport livestock and that does not exceed 75 feet in length.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB417, s. 1 3Section 1. 348.07 (2) (im) of the statutes is created to read:
SB417,1,54 348.07 (2) (im) Seventy-five total feet for a 2-vehicle combination transporting
5livestock.
