SB531,1,3 An Act to amend 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes; relating to: providing a grant for construction related to the Korean War Memorial at Plover and making an appropriation.

This bill provides a grant of $297,000 to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Association of Wisconsin, Inc., to repair or replace the causeway for the Korean War Memorial in Plover.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SB531, s. 1 Section 1. 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB531,1,8 20.485 (2) (e) Veterans memorial grants. From the general fund, as a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the schedule for the veterans memorial grant program under s. 45.04 and for the grant under 2001 2003 Wisconsin Act 16, section 9157 (8g) .... (this act), section 2 (1 ).

SB531, s. 2 Section 2 . Nonstatutory provisions.

SB531,2,6 (1) In fiscal year 2004-05, the department of veterans affairs shall provide a grant from the appropriation account under section 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes, as affected by this act, in the amount of $297,000 to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Association of Wisconsin, Inc., to repair or replace the causeway for the Korean War Memorial in Plover.

SB531, s. 3 Section 3. Appropriation changes.

SB531,2,13 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of veterans affairs under section 20.485 (2) (e) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2003, the dollar amount is increased by $297,000 for fiscal year 2004-05 to provide a grant to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Association of Wisconsin, Inc., to repair or replace the causeway for the Korean War Memorial in Plover.
