This bill directs the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin (UW)
System to establish at the UW-Whitewater a Fiscal and Economic Research Center
(Center) to provide research and technical assistance in the design of local fiscal and
economic policy, assist in economic development issues, and assist local governments
in southeastern Wisconsin with comprehensive planning. The Center must work
with local businesses to achieve the Center's objectives.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(47) Fiscal and Economic Research Center. The board shall establish

6private sectors, a Fiscal and Economic Research Center to do all of the following:
