SJR30,1,43 Whereas, Bob Uecker was selected as a recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award and
4will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame; and
SJR30,1,65 Whereas, in 1971 Bob Uecker joined the Milwaukee Brewers' announcing team;

SJR30,1,87 Whereas, he has since then announced World Series, league championships,
8and All Star games, becoming a household name in baseball; and
SJR30,1,109 Whereas, Bob Uecker has been exciting fans all over Wisconsin and the United
10States with his colorful and attention-grabbing remarks; and
SJR30,1,1211 Whereas, known for his humor and his humility, Bob Uecker is admired by
12players, managers, owners, and fans from all over; and
SJR30,1,1513 Whereas, he has already been honored as a member of the National Radio Hall
14of Fame, and 5-time winner of Wisconsin's Sportscast of the Year award; now,

1Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
2Wisconsin legislature congratulate Bob Uecker on his induction into the
3broadcasters' wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and express their appreciation for
4all that he has given to Wisconsin and to baseball; and, be it further
SJR30,2,6 5Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint
6resolution to Mr. Uecker.
