2prescription drug pricing.

This bill prohibits a person engaged in selling or dispensing prescription drugs
from discriminating in price between purchasers of a drug on the basis of the gender
of the purchasers.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB471, s. 1 3Section 1. 134.85 of the statutes is created to read:
AB471,1,5 4134.85 Gender discrimination in prescription drug pricing. (1) In this
5section, "drug" means any substance subject to 21 USC 353(b).
AB471,1,7 6(2) No person who sells or dispenses drugs may discriminate in price between
7purchasers of a drug on the basis of the gender of the purchasers.
AB471, s. 2 8Section 2. Effective date.

1(1) This act takes effect on the first day of the 6th month beginning after the
2effective date of this subsection.
