1An Act to create 16.973 (10) of the statutes;
relating to: posting of the telephone
2numbers of state agencies on the Internet.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill directs the Department of Administration to ensure that each state
agency that maintains a publicly accessible site on the Internet posts on the home
page of that site at least one telephone number where members of the public may
contact the agency to obtain information relating to the agency's functions.
Currently, there is no similar requirement.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
