AB632,1,2 1An Act to renumber 15.348; and to create 15.348 (2) of the statutes; relating

voting by the members of the conservation congress.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
The conservation congress is a statewide independent organization of citizens
that serves the Natural Resources Board in an advisory capacity on all matters under
the jurisdiction of the Natural Resources Board, such as those concerning
conservation and the environment.
Under this bill, the Natural Resources Board may not accept the results of a
vote on an advisory question made during the spring county meetings of the
conservation congress from any county meeting of the conservation congress if
nonresidents were allowed to vote on the advisory question or to vote for delegates
of the conservation congress.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB632, s. 1 3Section 1. 15.348 of the statutes is renumbered 15.348 (1).
AB632, s. 2 4Section 2. 15.348 (2) of the statutes is created to read:

2not residents of this state were allowed to vote at that county meeting on the advisory
