AJR103,1,64 Whereas, Tony Mason received a baccalaureate degree from the University of
5North Carolina and a master of arts degree from the University of
6Wisconsin-Madison; and
AJR103,1,87 Whereas, Tony Mason taught political science at Macalester College in St. Paul,
8Minnesota; and
AJR103,1,119 Whereas, Tony Mason joined the staff of the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on
10February 9, 1976, to work on a program evaluation project in conjunction with the
11Eagleton Institution of Politics at Rutgers University; and
AJR103,1,1412 Whereas, Tony Mason continued his career at the Legislative Fiscal Bureau
13and served as a fiscal analyst on a wide variety of state agency programs and
14budgets; and

1Whereas, in September 2002, Tony Mason became the program supervisor of
2the Legislative Fiscal Bureau's general government and justice team; and
AJR103,2,53 Whereas, Tony Mason's knowledge of the history, traditions, politics, and
4procedures of the legislature, made him an invaluable resource to all with whom he
5worked; and
AJR103,2,86 Whereas, Tony Mason's many talents and skills as an analyst, researcher,
7writer, supervisor, and mentor have greatly benefited the Legislative Fiscal Bureau
8and the legislature; and
AJR103,2,109 Whereas, throughout his career, Tony Mason conducted himself with integrity,
10dignity, and professionalism and earned the respect of all; and
AJR103,2,1211 Whereas, Tony Mason will retire from the Legislative Fiscal Bureau on June
1230, 2006, after 30 years of service; now, therefore, be it
AJR103,2,15 13Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
14Wisconsin legislature commend Tony Mason on his career, dedication, exemplary
15work, and service to the citizens of Wisconsin; and, be it further
AJR103,2,17 16Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
17resolution to Tony Mason and to his mother, Mrs. Martha B. Mason.
